01The client and context

House of Ravenwood is a religious organization with a public-facing site at houseofravenwood.org.

02The problem

The organization needed a credible public presence explaining its beliefs and practices, and giving people a way to find and join a community.

03The constraint

Someone researching a faith community is often doing it privately and cautiously, and is trying to work out whether it is legitimate and whether they would be welcome. That reader is served by directness and structure, not by persuasion.

04The strategic decision

Prioritise plain explanation over persuasion. Beliefs, practices, and participation are laid out so a cautious visitor can answer their own questions without contacting anyone first.

05The system created

  • Public website for the organization
  • Structure covering beliefs, practices, and community
  • A route to participation for new visitors

06Rosecraft responsibilities

  • Website design and development
  • Content structure and information architecture

On measured results

No performance figures are published for this project. Rosecraft only states an outcome when it has been measured over a defined period, attributed to a named source, and cleared by the client. Until then the evidence is the decision logic and the system itself.

What this demonstrates

For an organization people approach carefully, the most respectful design decision is to answer the obvious questions before anyone has to ask them out loud.
